Terri Shannon - Director
Melbourne based interior designer, Terri Shannon established Bloom interior design in 2001.
Terri has more than 15 years of experience in residential interior design in Melbourne and across Victoria after completing a Diploma of Art in Interior Decoration & Design at RMIT in 1995.
Emma Hunting - Head Designer
With more than 10 years in the design industry Emma’s portfolio of work spans from a variety of residential & commercial projects in which she was involved in both the interior design, architectural drafting & documentation component of each project. Completing a Bachelor of Art & Design in Interior Architecture from Monash University Emma brings with her a motivated, passionate, creative approach to each design project and each individual clients brief and expectations.
Ella D'Aloia – Interior Designer / Studio Manager
Since completing her Diploma of Interior Decoration & Design in 2009 at NMIT, Ella spent some time working in the UK as an interior designer & decorator specialising in soft furnishings.
Before coming to join the Bloom Interior Design team, Ella worked with a firm designing & consulting in the area of kitchens and bathrooms.
Ella prides herself on her clear understanding of the importance of the small details and the functionality of a space. Ella believes that your home is an extension of who you are and should reflect your chosen lifestyle.
Claire Posthuma – Interior Designer
Claire graduated from RMIT completing a Diploma of Art in Interior Decoration & Design in 2012.
Within Bloom Interior Design, Claire manages projects through her skills in concept development, documentation and computer aided drawing using Archicad.
With her enthusiasm and creativity, Claire works closely with the team to develop unique concepts and ideas, creating projects that truly reflect individual clients.
Hannah Lake – Interior Designer
Hannah completed her Diploma of Interior Design & Decorations (RMIT) and went on to further her studies receiving a Bachelor of Design (Interior Design) at Swinburne University.
Whilst studying and since graduating Hannah has gained experience with Melbourne Interior Design and Architectural firms. During this time Hannah acquired skills in spatial planning, computed aided drawings (ArchiCAD) and an extensive knowledge in soft furnishings.
With her passion and positivity Hannah aims to enhance each individual space with a holistic and bespoke approach to every design.
Brylee Schache – Interior Designer
Brylee graduated from RMIT completing a Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration in 2014.
Brylee brings to the team a young and fresh approach to design, priding herself on her ability to create unique environments that are specific to each individual clients brief.
Within Bloom Interior Design Brylee participates in contributing to projects by applying her dynamic design skills to create strong Interior Design concepts that cater specifically to the clients brief and design style. Brylee manages the project through to scheduling and costing also managing client ordering and delivery of furniture and objects. Brylee pulls together cohesive, cleverly considered projects and spatial environments.
Brylee likes to go above and beyond her clients expectations whilst focusing on the importance of building strong client-designer relationships.
