Bickley Vale

Southwest of Sydney, this circa-1910 cottage was transformed into a rural retreat for the family to share.
From start to finish, Bloom designed and project-managed the transformation of this charming cottage into a timeless countryside manor. Using a soft grey & cream colour palette, the joinery design & finishes honour the original dwelling and its heritage overlays, while the extension takes on a more contemporary feel. Curated furniture and window furnishings throughout tie the whole home together.
The beautiful project proudly earned its place in the 2018 House & Garden Top 50 Rooms and is featured in the August 2019 issue of Australian House & Garden.
