A Colonial-style 1970s property in Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula, Bloom meticulously designed and renovated to create an English Country aesthetic. The client’s goal was to make the home warmer and more colorful while also creating a relaxing space for weekends and entertaining. Bloom’s scope of work included expanding the front entry, capturing the surrounding views from the living areas by adding a pitched roof, and fully renovating the home with custom joinery throughout. Additionally, new furniture and window furnishings were implemented. The addition of antique furniture pieces and layering of fabrics and wallpaper helped create a sense of warmth. This project is featured in the August 2024 issue of Australian House & Garden.
